At Camping du Lac de Pouzauges in the Vendée, we make it a point of honor to offer you practical services and a variety of activities to make your vacation unforgettable. Set on a 2-hectare wooded estate by the lake, our 3-star campsite welcomes you in a friendly, family atmosphere. From the reception to the playground, grocery store and leisure facilities, discover everything that makes our establishment so charming.
Welcome to the reception
Our team welcomes you with a smile at the campsite reception, open from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 7pm, both in high and low season. This is where your stay begins: registration, tourist information on the region, ticket reservations for the Puy du Fou and advice on nearby walks. You’ll also find our convenience store here. Fiber optics in the accommodation and Wi-Fi on the pitches are free and available throughout the campsite, so you can stay connected even in the middle of nowhere!
At your service
Additional services and rentals
To make your stay as easy as possible at our family campsite in the Vendée, we offer a wide range of rental services. Need towels? They’re available at €5 per towel per stay. Sheet hire is also available at €15 per bed per stay, so you can travel light without sacrificing comfort. Families with young children will appreciate the free provision of chairs and, for an additional charge, cots. If you’re staying on a pitch, you can rent a fridge for €35 per stay. A laundry with tumble dryer and an ironing board are available to keep your belongings fresh throughout your vacation. Two communal barbecues are also freely available on the estate. And good news for families with pets: your four-legged friends are welcome, even in the rental units (2 pets maximum, €4 per pet per day).
Our sports facilities
Camping du Lac de Pouzauges is also a life-size playground! Petanque enthusiasts will be delighted to find our dedicated field, ideal for games with friends or family at the end of the day.
Open-air fitness equipment lets you keep in shape while enjoying the green surroundings. Younger guests can have fun on the ping-pong table, trampoline ,airplane and homeball set up on the playground. The older ones might prefer a game of soccer on our landscaped pitch?
And for sunny days, the small beach by the lake, directly accessible from our family campsite near the Puy du Fou, invites you to swim and relax. You don’t need a swimming pool when you’ve got a lake at your feet!
Shops close to the campsite
Don’t panic if you’ve forgotten something: the shops are just around the corner! A Lidl store is just 700 metres from the campsite, barely a minute by car. Super U is 1.2 km (3 minutes by car) away, and a chemist 1.1 km (2 minutes).
You’ll have no trouble finding everything you need for a relaxing stay. And for lovers of local produce, don’t miss La Ferme de Chez Nous in Pouzauges, a farm store offering 100% seasonal produce from over 80 producers within a 100 km radius.
